EDim is a professional 3ds Max plugin that allows you to create stunning 3D dimensions in seconds. It supports multiple selection and color changing, and can be linked to your original object. You can control the dimensions’ renderability and put them in a separate layer. EDim also offers three different dynamic sizes that will always fit your original object size.

Each license of this script can be activated on one computer only (With many max versions* and instances as you want) and this license covers ver 1.++ and it’s minor updates below ver 2.00.
EDim 1.30 is now compatible with 3ds Max 2021 to 2025*, and with any renderer.

Changed the HW lock data avoiding crashing with Win11 24h2 and switching power to battery in laptops was changing HW information, so please don’t activate any older version. Activating an older version after this release will make you unable to activate any new releases after 1.55.

You SHOULD UNISTALL FIRST if you have older versions using the uninstall button on the installer.
You CANNOT ROLL BACK AFTER THIS UPDATE. and activating older version after 2/29/2024 will make you unable to update further than 1.3.3, because we have changed the activation method on the server already to NOT COLLECT lan card info in the hardware ID Lock data.

New feature of controlling the text extrusion thickness.
New feature that the X & Y text are following the axis of the lower dimlines, not just on the Zero plane which was causing stuttering on the lower text render.
Fixing a minor bug issues when creating a dimension whie the last line created or edited on the file was renderable – text used to be with a renderable outline also.
Older 3dsmax versions than 2019 is may have some issues after this update.

EDim now keeps the undo log (Older edition was clearing the undo steps before creating dimensions).

Single Machine Use
Each license is valid for installation and use on one designated computer only.
Non-Transferable
Licenses are tied to the original hardware and cannot be transferred to another machine.
Hardware Modifications
Significant changes to the licensed computer’s hardware—such as replacing the motherboard, CPU, or GPU—will render the license invalid. In such cases, a new license purchase is required.
Lifetime Validity
The license remains valid for the lifetime of the originally designated hardware, provided all other terms are met, or until our servers are permanently shut down—whichever comes first.
Free Updates
Customers will receive free updates for all versions released under the same major version number as the one purchased. For example, if you purchase version 1.xx, all updates up to but not including version 2.0 will be available for free via the original purchase link. Major version upgrades (e.g., from 1.x to 2.x) will require a new license purchase.
Limited Support Period
Email support is available for up to six (6) months from the date of purchase. Support requests beyond this period may not be honored or may require an additional support plan.

- Reverse Engineering: Any attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, or use any part of it separately, is strictly prohibited.

- No Refund Policy: Licenses invalidated due to unauthorized actions—including hardware ID manipulation or reverse engineering—are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.

I’ve purchased this tool and i’ve been using it for more than 3 weeks. I can say that it’s the most used tool while working on 3d max, giving the most reliable and accurate measurments even after scaling the objects (scaling doesn’t change the parameter of the object while the object’s real dimensions changed ) that saves alot of time and reduces mistakes.
